MAGNESIUM CONTENT OF ZEMAG MAGNESIUM OIL
Concentrated Magnesium Oil is a saturated 31% magnesium chloride solution with a density of 1.3 kg/liter and is thus heavier than water.
- 1 kg saturated magnesium chloride solution equals 0.77 litres and contains 310 g magnesium chloride.
- 1 liter contains 1.3×310 g = 403 g magnesium chloride.
- The molar mass of magnesium chloride is 95.2
- The molar mass of magnesium is 24.3
- 1 ml saturated ZEMAG magnesium chloride solution therefore contains:
403 : 95.2 x 24.3 = 103 mg pure magnesium
Using the transdermal application most of this magnesium will penetrate the skin and be bio-available.
HOW LONG DOES MY BOTTLE LAST?
The 500 ml bottle contains approx. 2250 sprays. So if you use 10 sprays per day it will last 225 days. 10 sprays per day will give you 220 mg elemental Magnesium per day.
APPLICATION AND DOSAGE
Apply magnesium oil directly to the skin and massage gently. You can apply it to: arms, shoulders, legs, chest, back or aching joints and muscles. Allow the magnesium oil or gel to react for a minimum of 10 to 15 minutes (optimally 20 – 30 minutes) and rinse with water if desired. The magnesium will penetrate deep into the skin up to the cell level.
Apply morning and evening 5 – 20 sprays of magnesium oil. Each spray contains about 22 mg elemental magnesium. 10 sprays equals to 220 mg elemental magnesium.
REMARKS
Do not apply to open wounds or broken skin. Avoid contact with the eyes and mouth area. Incase this happens just wash-off with water.
A slight warm and tingling feeling can occur where the gel is applied to a larger area. This is normal and can be attributed to the effect of the magnesium penetrating into the skin. This tingling effect can occur during the first 3 treatments.
