MAGNESIUM CONTENT OF ZEMAG MAGNESIUM FLAKES
Magnesium flakes contain 47% Magnesium chloride and 53% Water.
- 1 kg of magnesium flakes contains 470 g of magnesium chloride
- The molar mass of magnesium chloride is 95.2
- The molar mass of magnesium is 24.3
- 1 kg ZEMAG Magnesium Flakes therefore contains:
470: 95.2 x 24.3 = 120 g of pure magnesium
Using transdermal application, magnesium will penetrate the skin and be bio-available.
DOSAGE AND USE
It is recommended to take 1 or 2 full/foot baths a week at best in the evening before sleeping. Duration: 20 to 30 minutes.
Preparation of recommended concentrations for a foot bath:
- 200 g of magnesium chloride flakes in 5 liters of warm water (37 ° C) for approx. 2% solution.
- 400 g of magnesium chloride flakes in 5 liters of warm water (37 ° C) for approx. 4% solution.
Production of recommended concentrations for a full bath:
- 1 kg of magnesium chloride flakes in 50 liters of warm water (37 ° C) for approx. 1% solution.
- 2 kg of magnesium chloride flakes in 50 liters of warm water (37 ° C) for approx. 2% solution.
REMARK
Since magnesium has a corrosive effect on metal parts, it is not advisable to use in foot- or full baths which have a pump system.
